ClickBank affiliates set up a free ClickBank account and then advertise a special link that call a "hoplink". You are going to be paid differently by our administrative account.

Our administrative account is called Clickbank, who has listed over 100,000 companies in their database. They will pay you twice a month on or around the 1st and 15th. As an example, they will not take any taxes out of your check, but they will send a tax form 1099 at the end of the year to report your earnings. You will have the option to get paid by direct deposit (for some countries), or by mailed check. You will need to provide Clickbank with an EIN (For USA Members) which we have shown you how to obtain in our member’s home page. International members will not need to fill out any special tax forms.

The administrative account you will want to sign-up for is Clickbank. We are going to walk you through sign up process with Clickbank which will establish your sign up For Free.

Enter your account information such as who you want your checks made out to, address, phone number, and e-mail address.
When asked for "Address of your Web site" - LEAVE BLANK (No Web site needed)

When choosing your "Account Nickname" keep in mind that this nickname will be displayed in all of your data submission postings so keep it professional. Using your first initial of your first name, then using your full last name or visa versa will work fine.

After filling in all of your information, click "SUBMIT;" make sure you do not close your window after submitting. You are going to need to go to your e-mail and get a special confirmation code to enter in the next screen. Make sure to save this e-mail, because this confirmation code is also your password.

After you have entered your confirmation that Clickbank has sent you, click "Submit" and your account is approved and ready to access.

Logging into Your Clickbank Account

To login to your Clickbank account go to http://www.Clickbank.com, then select "My Account" located on the upper right portion of page. On the 'My Account" page you will use your Nickname as the username and the confirmation code for password. After you have entered your username and password click "Login" and go to the next section of training.

Special Account Feature

MARKETPLACE: If you look at the top right of your screen, you will see the "Marketplace" this is where you will select our company to type your data submissions for. We are going to go over that in the next section of this training.

You do not need to create products, set up anything else with the exception of adding your EIN (for USA members only) and setting you payout threshold in your account settings.

How to Select our Company in ClickBank

Getting the Promotion Links for our Company

Once you have located our company you would like to promote in Clickbank, you will need to obtain the special promotion link also known by Clickbank term "Hoplink" in order to get credit for the submissions you produce through your promotions in part 2 of the program.

Getting Promotions Links for Your Account:

First of all, you will need to be logged into your Clickbank account to obtain the affiliate promotion link for our company in Clickbank.

After you are logged into your account, click on "MARKETPLACE" button.

For our training purpose click on the "Money & Employment" link in the marketplace.

Note: Whenever you want to get your affiliate promotion link/hoplink for our company to promote, click on the "CREATE HOPLINK" button.

When click on "Create Hoplink" a separate box will pop up

You will see a confirmation of what % our company is going to pay you for all your commissions on the top of the page.

Clickbank Nickname: In this box enter your Clickbank nickname (the one you used to sign up with).

Tracking ID: This is only for Web site owners; YOU WILL NEVER USE THIS FEATURE.

After you have entered your Clickbank nickname, click "SUBMIT"

END OF PART 1 OF TRAINING

So when you want to make money for our company;

1.) Log into your Clickbank admin members account.
2.) Choose our company.
3.) Get your affiliate promotion link/hoplink.
4.) Go to Part 2 and post your submissions to get paid.

You will not need to know exactly the definitions we provide for the following, and you will not use many of the features listed below. We are going to tell you what they mean anyways.

A. The company's pitch to you: Here we explain what we offer and why you should promote our company.

B. $/Sale: Average net amount earned per Clickbank member (this is you) per referred sale. Note that this is the net amount earned per actual sale; it is impacted by refunds, charge backs, and sales taxes. (Effective 28 July 2005, unfunded sales, such as returned checks, do not impact this number.)

C. Total $/Sale: The sum of all initial sales and re bills divided by the number of initial sales. It is the average total $per sale, including all re bills that may come from that sale.

D. %/Sale: Average percentage commission earned per affiliate per referred sale. This number should only vary if we have decided to change our payout percentage over time.

E. % Referred: Fraction of our company's total sales that are referred by affiliates.

F. Gravity: The number of distinct affiliates who earned a commission by referring a paying customer to our company's products. This is a weighted sum and not an actual total. For each affiliate paid in the last 8 weeks, an amount between 0.1 and 1.0 is added to the total. The more recent the last referral, the higher the value added.

G. View Pitch Page: This is an actual entrance to our company’s Web site for you to take a look at the product or service being offered. You can also gather any notes about our company such as selling points, offers, discounts etc. to add to your data submissions you will be posting in part 2. You can get our company’s Web site URL address that is sometimes needed to add in your submissions by clicking on the View Pitch Page.

H. Create Hoplink: Here you will get your affiliate promotion link also known by Clickbank as Hoplink that you will use to post in all of your data submissions. This will be the link you place into all of your data submissions that you will be posting to Internet in part 2. (We are going to show you how to do this in the next section of the training.)

A. Account Home	This is the page you will be on when you first log into your Clickbank account.
B. Account Settings	In the account settings you can change your personal information, set your payout request amount, and add your EIN for tax purposes.
C. REPORTING	The reporting will give you details of how much money you have made on particular pay periods. You can locate which submission produced the earnings by selecting "Reporting," then "Transactions." This will display each of your submission earnings by the vendor name; it will also tell you who made the purchase and where they are located.
D. Pay period Sales Subtotals	This will display current and most recent pay totals for particular pay periods. This is where you can look to see how much you next check will be for the next pay period.
E. Daily Sales Subtotals	You can login at and you will see your earnings for each day. The earnings are calculated in real time, which means that when one of your data submissions creates a sale/commission, it is reported to this screen.
